1. Educational Seminars were held by two authors, who were invited by “Love That Child” Foundation” with partner foundation, “Together” to come from Russia to present 4 days of workshops on Moral Education/Virtues.
Ninety five educators: directors, teachers and psychologists participated from different schools around Sofia. A press conference was held and Bulgarian Television aired excerpts from the first workshop along with interviews of the authors and high school students of “Virtues”.
Following this project, there was a 1-hour interview on Hristo Botev Radio with 3 students, the English teacher and our Foundation about “Virtues in the Classroom”.
2. A project was held under the Municipality of Sofia whereby 12 teachers were trained from 3 schools and a kindergarten to teach “Virtues” in their schools, which is currently in progress.
3. "Blagotvoritel” Foundation with the partnership of “Love That Child” had a project for 4 kindergartens where the teachers are currently applying the “Virtues” in their classes. A press conference was held followed by interviews on Darrik and the National radio stations including interviews with the children.
Many other projects have been implemented and currently
there are ongoing children's classes in several schools plus
trainings for teachers and parents in Sofia and around the
country.
4. “Love That Child” and “Blagotvoritel” foundations joined again for a project whereby 36 students from 4 different schools in Kostenets, Dolna Banya and Ihtiman were chosen to be trained in Virtues for 8 days. Following the training, the students taught their classmates their learning, for the rest of the year, with the help of their teachers who also attended and were trained.
5. "Love That Child" held teacher trainings for Foundation, "Teach for Bulgaria".
6. Twenty-three high school students after having classes of Virtues, were trained and for a year, visited an orphanage weekly and taught classes of Virtues to the children there.
