Children's Classes

 

Moral virtues or qualities are taught through effective lessons with supplements of songs, sketches, puppets, stories, examples and games. For the older students, we use discussions, workshops, sometimes a service project, especially after studying the virtue of "Service." Sometimes we invite a guest speaker such as a recovering drug addict, NGOs working with forced prostitution and trafficking, UNICEF and UNHCR representatives and other relevant speakers.

 

Each week a different “virtue” is discussed. The

homework is to practice the particular virtue being

studied at the moment, come back the following week

and relate the situation of how the virtue was practiced.

This is a concrete result of their understanding of

the virtue.
